Chabra, Jharkhand: 2.6 kgs of Opium and 500 gms of brown sugar are seized from three separate raids that were held in Jharkhand’s Chatra district.
According to the information given by the police, the first raid was conducted at Pandey Tola in the Gidhaur police station area where the first arrest was sought and a cache worth 1.25 kg was seized from the accused residence.
The second raid took place near a primary school, Balbali, where the accused were caught red-handed while trading for opium. Around 1.1 kgs of opium, two motorcycles and one mobile from the spot were seized. The accused reportedly fled the spot.
The third case was lodged in connection to an operation that was conducted by Gidhaur and Pathalgadha Police stations where the accused was arrested for possessing 500 gms of brown sugar.
