Mumbai: The Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Mumbai on Wednesday arrested two accused and recovered heroin worth Rs 15 crore from their possession in the Dongri area.
The accused are identified as residents of Rajasthan who tried their luck to sell the drug illegally in the financial capital of the nation. It is reported that the police department received a tip-off following which the accused were nabbed from South Mumbai.
Giving information about the substances recovered, the Anti-Narcotics Cell team indicated to have recovered seven kgs of heroin. Probe for the drug racket is yet underway, sources stated.
