4 Persons Die In Road Mishap In Mandla

Jabalpur: 4 persons were killed after the car they were travelling in collided head-on with a truck in Mandla district early Saturday morning, sources said. Lalit, Sandeep, Kamlesh and Kanha have lost their lives in the accident they are said to belong to Kawardha district of Chhattisgarh. The incident occurred near Manohari village on National Highway-30 under the Motinala police station area of Mandla district.

On being alerted a team led by Motinala police station in-charge Amrita Tigga rushed to the spot and sent bodies for autopsy. Tigga said that the car was heading towards Jabalpur, while the truck was going to Raipur from Mandla. The truck driver is absconding from the spot after the accident. “All four died on the spot. Their family members are being informed. They will reach here soon,” she added.
