Afghanistan Terror Trail; Unidentified Gunmen Opened Fire within a Span of 20 Minutes
- Attack took place in PD3 and PD4 area of Nangarhar province’s Jalalabad city
- 3 policemen and one doctor killed in the attack, 2 more injured
- No group claimed responsibility for the attack, not even the Taliban
At around 7.40 AM in local time, in the PD3 area of Jalalabad city of Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province, people witnessed brutal attacks on policemen and doctors. 20 minutes later after the first attack, another similar attack took place in the same area.
The first time, some unidentified goons loaded with guns opened fire targeting a police vehicle. In this incident, one policeman was killed and two more were injured. Soon after the attack, the gunmen fled the scene without being nabbed by anyone.
After 20 minutes, some unidentified gunmen came in again and fired guns targeting a police van in the PD4 area of Jalalabad city. In this attack, two policemen and a doctor lost their lives. The reason behind such a brutal attack and the mind behind the same has not been identified yet. No group has claimed the responsibilities of the attack as of yet, not even the Taliban.
