‘Bastar Tigers’ is a local youth group consisting 2800 youth. Many of these youth are the ones whose parents have been killed by the Naxalites in front of their own eyes. Till now, more than 15,000 youth have been applied and have been trained by the district administration and police administration of every district of Chhattisgarh before recruitment.

Sainath said that the way for tribal youth to do other jobs is closed and they can only be recruited in the police department. He further claimed that it is his job to hunt and kill the leaders running the mass movement. Massacres like Adsameta and Sarkeguda will increase further.
