Bus Rams into Check Post; Atleast 7 Injured
- Private travel bus with passengers on board rams into Godhari check post at NH 53.
- 7 including 2 policemen, 3 passengers and 2 revenue officers injured.
- The incident took place when the revenue officers and the police officials were at the checkpost.
Mahasamund: Around 7 including 3 passengers, 2 police officials at the check post and 2 revenue employees were injured in the accident that took place in Mahasamund on Friday. Reportedly, a bus from Payal travels with passengers on board rammed into a check post injuring 4 people sitting at the check post.
As per reports, the injured have been taken to the nearest medical college near the Godhari check post on NH-53. The incident is said to have occurred when the Revenue officers and Police officials were making arrangements in view of the sit in protests around the Assembly that was called by the assistant teachers.
The police have launched a search for the absconding driver. Further details on the incident are awaited.
