CAF constable Injured in IED blast by Naxals
- CAF constable Ramnath Maurya sustains injuries in IED blast.
- Admitted to District Hospital Dantewada.

Bijapur: A Chattisgarh Armed Forces Jawan was seriously injured due to IED blast planted by Naxals in Pandemurga Road in Nelsnar, Bijapur.
The incident occurred around 11 am near Pandemurga village under Nelasnar police station limits, where a road opening party (ROP) of the CAF’s 8th battalion was out for patrolling, Inspector General of Police (Bastar range) Sundarraj P said.
The injurd identified as constable Ramnath Maurya suffered severe injuries on both legs and is admitted to the District Hospital Dantewada for medical assistance. After preliminary treatment there, the jawan is being airlifted to Raipur for further medication
According to sources the IEDs were intentionally planted by the naxals.
