CG Cong Passes Resolution to Make Rahul Gandhi Party President

Raipur: On the first day of ‘Nav Sankalp Chintan Shivir’, the state Congress Committee on Wednesday passed a resolution to make Rahul Gandhi the party president. The resolution was proposed by the party’s state general secretary (in charge) Amarjeet Chawla which was supported by everyone present there.
CM Bhupesh Baghel, State Unit president Mohan Markam and AICCs state in-charge secretary party’s state general secretary (in charge) Amarjeet Chawla, AICC’s state in-charge secretary Chandan Yadav were amongst those who attended the meeting.
Besides these, discussions on the implementation of decisions taken during the Chintin Shivir held in Udaipur were also held and an action plan in this regard was also drafted.
On Thursday, discussions would be held on six issues by forming various committees and their findings would also be presented. Discussions on the expansion of the organisation, district-level foot march, appointment in vacant posts, and protest plan against the Central government on various issues will also be discussed.
