CG Girl Wins Google Scholarship; Invited to 22 APAC GCS Virtual Retreat
- Raipur girl awarded a USD 1,000 scholarship from Google.

Raipur: A student of the National Institute of Technology, Raipur ; Aadya Jha is awarded a scholarship from the 2022 APAC Generation Google Scholarship for Women in Computer Science. Apart from the USD 1,000, an invitation to attend the 2022 APAC GCS Virtual Retreat hosted by Google was also sent.
Aadya, a 4th-year student pursuing Computer Science had childhood interests in coding and so opted for branch sliding and shifted to CSE branch from electronics.
Around three rounds were held for the competition. The first and the second rounds had general questions and coding. While the last round was a virtual interaction with the jury who explored Aadya’s interests in Computer Science.
It is being learnt that Aadya Jha, wishes to pursue Masters in Computer Science after her bachelor’s.
