CG to Begin Doorstep Vaccination for 12 plus
- CG health department to organize door to door vaccination program for 12 plus children.
- Campaign to begin from May 2nd.
- Health personnel to visit residences between 7 am-12 noon.
Raipur: With the beginning of summer vacation, the state health department has decided to start door-to-door vaccination aiming expedite administration of COVID shots to children between 12 -14 years.
The program will begin from May 2nd. Health care personnel and govt employees will be deployed to hold the vaccination drive from 7 am- 12 noon.
So far, the local administration has jabbed around 13 lakh children under 14 years. Out of these 56% have recieved the first dose.
COVID-19 vaccination for the age group 12-14 years was started on 16 March, 2022. So far, more than 2.82 Cr (2,82,92,856) adolescents have been administered with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
