Chhattisgarh: Burnt Body of a Teenage Girl Found in Ganiyari Village

Chhattisgarh: On the roadside of Ganiyari Village of Nandghat Police Station area, a burnt body of a girl has been discovered. The police rescued the body and it has been sent to the hospital mortuary to post mortem and for further investigation. The forensic team is facing major trouble in identifying the victim due to serious injuries caused by fire. The team even involved their specially trained dog in their quest to search for accurate evidence.
Upon inspection, the dead body is speculated to belong to the age group of 19-20 years. The police are hinting at the possibility that the girl was raped before she was burnt to death. The identity of the deceased has not been revealed yet. The forensic team is unable to decipher a proper cause as the clothes of the victim are badly burnt.
The police force is trying to extract required information about the victim from the nearby residents. But they are trying to conclude that the dead body has been shifted to the roadside of Ganiyari Village from the exact crime location. They further suspected that more than one individual was involved in this dreadful incident. DSP Ram Kumar Burman mentioned in a statement that the police force won’t be able to say anything before identifying the victim.
