Chhattisgarh: Cop Booked in Rajnandgaon District for Rape, Murder
- ASI Narendra Gahine, Chhuikhadan police station raped and threatened the 15-year-old daughter of his house-help

Rajnandgaon: A shocking incident surfaced from the Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh where a police officer committed a heinous crime.
A case has been registered against an Assistant Sub Inspector posted in Chhuikhadan police station for allegedly raping and threatening the 15-year-old daughter of his house help.
It is reported that ASI Narendra Gahine was exploiting the girl for several days and a few days ago burnt the legs of the girl to intimidate and threaten her from revealing his abominable acts. As per sources, the victim used to work as a house help on days when her mother could not go who apparently was employed by the accused ASI.
On August 14th, the victim’s mother complained at the Chhuikhadan police station, following which on August 16th an FIR was registered by the Police station in charge, Rameshwar Deshmukh. The accused ASI Narendra Gahine was taken into custody late in the night and sent to prison on August 17.
Addressing the media on Wednesday, the Additional Superintendent of Police Pragya Meshram confirmed the filing of the case.
