Raipur: The threat of Omicron, a novel coronavirus variant, is swiftly spreading across the country. Patients with Omicron have been detected in the neighbouring states of Chhattisgarh. The state government has also been concerned as a result of this. However, according to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Chhattisgarh is completely equipped to deal with the novel coronavirus variant Omicron. Active corona cases rise to 368.

On Friday morning, Chief Minister Baghel interacted with the media before departing for Sonakhan in the capital Raipur. “We pray to God that Omicron does not come to Chhattisgarh,” he stated in response to a query regarding the risk of Omicron. “We are completely prepared to deal with it if it happens,” he added. He stated that precautions are being made. People who arrive at the airport are screened. Apart from that, the scope of corona investigations at railway stations has been expanded.
