Chhattisgarh Weather: Cloudy on 5th day of Nautpa, Department Issues Alert

Raipur: The weather in Chhattisgarh has changed significantly and the citizens now have relief from the scorching heat. The change in weather came on Monday as the weather became pleasant and cloudy. This happened on the 5th day of Nautpa, providing relief to the citizens from the heat.

In several areas, light drizzles were observed, enhancing the overall pleasant atmosphere. The arrival of cold winds contributed to the soothing weather conditions. The weather has changed from scorching heat to cloudy skies. Raipur had experienced the maximum temperature of 40.2 degrees Celsius.

The meteorological department has issued an alert for the state, forecasting the possibility of light rain accompanied by thunderstorms in various districts, including Raipur. It has also been reported that some regions will have wind speed ranging from 30-40 km/hr. 

The temperature rankings across different districts reveal that Dhamtari topped the list with the highest recorded temperature of 42.4 degrees Celsius. Raipur followed closely at 40.2 degrees Celsius, while Raigad registered a temperature of 42.1 degrees Celsius. The anticipated rainfall and thunderstorms offer hope for further respite from the relentless heat.
