Class III and IV Govt Employees to Work on Rotation
- Gen District Administration issued fresh COVID norms for Class III and Class IV employees.
- All employees of the dedicated class to work on rotational basis with 50 percent attendance per day.
- The decision came after state surpassed 1 lakh active infections in January.
Raipur: The General Administration Department of the state govt on Saturday issued fresh guidelines to be in effect from January 31st. All class III and IV employees in the offices of all departments would go on a skeletal service and rotate staff making only 50 per cent attendance per day.
A notice pertaining to the new rule has been forwarded to all Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Heads of all departments. This decision has stemmed from recent rise in the COVID tally recorded by the state health department. The state health bulletin analysing the monthly COVID curve has expressed concerns over the grim rise. As per the statistics, the active tally of the state stood at 1,04,508.
However, all senior officers across the departments will have to present full attendance and abide by the COVID norms strictly. Authorities at Ministry Mahanadi Bhawan and Head Office Indravati have issued a notice clearly denying entry to outsiders.
