CM Gehlot Announces 19 New Districts & 3 new Divisions In Rajasthan
Jaipur: In a significant development, Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot on Friday announced his government’s decision to create 19 new districts and three new divisions in the state. The chief minister made these announcements while addressing the state assembly on Friday. Now, the largest state of India will have a total of 50 districts and 10 divisions.
Announcing the formation of the new districts and divisions, the CM Gehlot told that Jaipur North, Jaipur South, Jodhpur East, Jodhpur West, Kotputli, Didwana. Behror, Dudu, Sanchor, Deeg, Shahpura, Salumber, Anupgarh, Beawar, Balotra, Gangapur City, Phalodi, Khairthal, Neemkathana, Beawar will be the new districts and Banswara, Sikar, and Pali will be named the new divisions.
Since the past two decades, MLAs of all political parties were demanding the creation of new districts in Rajasthan. This move is also seen in this election year as CM Gehlot’s run for a new bet.
