Chhattisgarh: The state Congress committee on Monday staged protests against the Agnipath Scheme by holding a march past. MLAs of respective constituencies have come forward to actively participate in the protest. Party president Mohan Markam is leading the march in Kondagaon, while Dr ShivKumar Dahriya is taking the lead in Arang. In a media interaction, he claimed the centre is gambling with the future of the youth through this scheme.
Meanwhile. party president Markam in Kondagaon claimed the Modi govt since inception has been deceiving the youth by promising them employment since being elected as the PM.
Meanwhile, the Indian Air Force (IAF) said that as of Monday they have received 56,960 applications since the official launch of the Agnipath recruitment scheme for the armed forces.
“56960! That’s the total number of applications received till date from future #Agniveers in response to the #Agnipath recruitment application process of agnipathvayu.cdac.in,” the IAF said on Twitter.
They also shared information regarding the recruitment process, training and service information, financial package and other benefits the scheme provides. The registrations will close on July 5.
