Story Highlights
  • Former CM and colleagues hold a protest
  • Will hold a state level protest “Jail Bharo” on Saturday
  • Both the parties accuse each other of alleged defaming

Raipur: Amidst the ongoing heat of the alleged Congress Toolkit, former CM Raman Singh staged a dharna at his residence in the capital today. Former minister was accompanied by Rajesh Moonat, Rajya Sabha MP Ramvichar Netam and former MP Abhishek Singh. Dr Singh claimed this was a state level protest and due to COVID restrictions, the leaders were participating from their residence.

Nudging Congress over its alleged FIR, Raman Singh said,” Congress has conspired. The toolkit is a conspiracy to discredit the country. It has exposed the activities of Congress. The country can now assess the character of the opposition party.”

Additionally, the BJP also declared a state level protest “jail bharo” on Saturday. BJP National Vice President and former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh and other accused will present themselves to the police officials at Civil Lines Police Station on Saturday. Raman Singh spoke about Soumya and Rajiv who belong to the Research team of the Congress Party and suspected their capabilities.

According to BJP leaders, the Congress toolkit tries to defame the Modi government, mock him and disregard his efforts to strike a balance amidst the tough times.

Dr Raman issues derogatory statements against the Rahul Gandhi Party during the protest. A scathing argument spurts amongst both the parties, trying to defame each other.
