New Delhi: India’s Corona curve presented a sustained decline, as the MoHFW reported 86,498 infections. With this, the country’s infection tally rose to 2,89,96473. according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
With a recovery rate of 94.29 percent, 18,22,82 individuals were discharged after hospitalization in the last 24 hours taking the total recoveries to 2,73,41,462.
The number of active cases has reduced to 13,03,702 accounting for 4.50 percent of the total number of cases. The active cases recorded a decline of 97,907 in the last 24 hours. However, the mortality rate recorded at 1.21 percent reported 2,123 deaths, taking the cumulative death toll to 3,51,309.
