Corona Update: Britain’s heir to the throne Prince Charles tests positive for coronavirus

Earlier it was reported that the staff of the queen of England were tested positive of COVID-19

United Kingdom: Recently Prince Charles has tested positive for the coronavirus. The Prince of Wales who is first in line to the British throne is experiencing mild symptoms “but otherwise remains in good health,” Clarence House said in a statement.

Clarence House confirmed that the 71-year-old royal had been diagnosed with the COVID-19 disease in a statement released this morning. He is showing mild symptoms otherwise he is in good health.

“It is not possible to ascertain from whom the prince caught the virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks.” the officials said

Prince Charles is currently in isolation. And His wife Camila was also tested, But the result were negative.  At the same time, Queen Elizabeth’s health is stated to be fine. She is taking all the necessary steps to protect from Corona.

“Her Majesty the queen remains in good health,” the palace officials said. “The queen last saw the Prince of Wales briefly after the investiture on the morning of 12th March and is following all the appropriate advice with regard to her welfare.”

Prince Charles is the successor of the British royalty. Prince Diana was his first wife. Then he married to Camila after the death of his 1st wife  Diana. Prince Charles left London after the Coronavirus cases increased in Britain. He moved to Burkhall, Scotland on 22 March. 


Britain is also severely affected by the Coronavirus. According to the WHO, 6654 cases of corona have been reported here so far. And 335 people have died due to this harmful virus.
