Corona update: Lockdown extended till May 3, govt to issue guidelines tomorrow, says PM

- India has now registered over 10000 cases of coronavirus as of 14th April
- Next phase of the national lock down to combat the COVID 19 starts today

India: In view of rising of corona cases, PM Modi has announced to extend the lockdown further till 3rd may, in today’s morning address. As cases have reached 10000 in the country, it is our duty to mandatory follow the principles of lockdown. Many of the world’s renowned organisations have appreciated the way India is moving forward. Hence it is our responsibility to contain COVID-19 as soon as possible.
In his previous address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced a complete lockdown across the country for 21 days from 24th march, Tuesday midnight, asserting that social distancing is the only way out for the country in its decisive battle against the coronavirus.
Pm Narendra Modi has now announced extension of the complete lockdown of the country till May 3. PM Modi is addressing the nation after much anticipation for days as the nationwide lockdown imposed for 21 days comes to an end today.
Several state governments have already announced lockdown extension in their states, the Centre made an announcement today and PM Modi said the lockdown has been extended till May 3.
