COVID Norms Tightened Amidst Omicron Suspect

Bhopal: In the previous ten days, 140 corona positives have been detected in Madhya Pradesh. Two sick Omicron suspects have returned from the United Kingdom and Canada. They’ve been taken to the hospital for treatment, moreover their samples were sent for genome sequencing. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, has also voiced his concern. The district government is also coping with the new variant in the area. People roaming around without masks, on the other hand, will be fined.

However, due to the growing number of cases, Collector Avinash Lavania has ordered that such persons be fined up to 500 rupees, although no action has yet been taken. Collector Lavania has stated that he has already provided guidelines, but that he will now take action. Vaccines and masks are the primary protection against corona. That is why these two are being warned against. At the same time, a senior official has been assigned the task of expediting the return of the suspects’ reports from overseas.
