Delhi’s Minimum Temperature At 8.6 Degrees, AQI Moderate
NEW DELHI: Delhi woke up to a windy Wednesday morning with the minimum temperature settling at 8.6 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year.
The air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 156, which is in the moderate category.
The relative humidity at 8.30 am was recorded at 100 per cent.
The Met dept has forecast strong surface winds during day time with the maximum temperature likely to settle around 20 degrees Celsius.
The IMD in a fresh notice on Tuesday said that the cold wave in North India is ‘unlikely’ in the coming five days. According to IMD, one active western disturbance was active in the past two days which has causes rainfall and snowfall at most of the places over the Himalayan regions.
Cold wave conditions in parts of North India abated on Monday after heavy rains across northern states. A drop in temperatures by two to three degrees was also reported in Delhi and NCR.
