Dream Girl 2 Nears the 100 Crore Mark at the Box Office on Day 15

The Hindi comedy-drama “Dream Girl 2,” helmed by director Raaj Shaandilya, made a stellar entry into the box office with a remarkable opening weekend. Over its first three days, the film managed to amass an impressive Rs 40.71 crore, with Friday contributing Rs 10.69 crore, Saturday reaching Rs 14.02 crore, and Sunday soaring to Rs 16 crore.

As the weekdays rolled in, “Dream Girl 2” displayed remarkable consistency, maintaining a strong hold on its audience. It performed admirably, grossing Rs 5.42 crore on Monday, Rs 5.87 crore on Tuesday, and Rs 7.50 crore on Wednesday. Even on Thursday, the film brought in Rs 6.35 crores, summing up its one-week total to an impressive Rs 65.85 crores.

This production, brought to the screen by Balaji Motion Pictures, serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2019 hit film starring Ayushmann Khurrana, where he portrayed a call centre employee who could mimic a woman’s voice. In “Dream Girl 2,” Ayushmann steps into the role of Pooja, adopting a female persona for financial gain. Over its first 14 days, “Dream Girl 2” continued to charm audiences, accumulating a remarkable 95.66 Crores in net earnings in India.

As it enters its fifteenth day in theatres, “Dream Girl 2” is poised to add even more to its impressive earnings, with expectations of grossing an additional 0.75 Crores in India net. The film’s success is a testament to its engaging storyline and Ayushmann Khurrana’s stellar performance, solidifying its status as a box office hit.
