Election Dates Announced; Rajnath Singh Reacts to Mamata’s Challenge; a Lot Happening over WB State Polls
India: As the state elections near, every state sees a varsity of occurrences going on. From rallies to slogans and to ultimately the poll results, it’s like a festival that the party members celebrate. In the next two months, WB and four other states will have their assembly elections whose dates have been declared by the election commission of India today. The results will be declared on May 2, 2021.
The date of WB elections are march 27, April 1,6,10,17,22,26,29 as it will occur on 8 phases. The other states include Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam, and Puducherry where the elections are also designated for March and April dates. The Scenario of WB political fiasco is getting interesting day by day. The face-off between BJP and TMC party will generate a huge turn of events during the state polls.
Targeting the political fiasco in the state, the current CM of the state Mamata Banerjee challenged the BJP party saying “Khela Hobe” (the game is on) to which the ex-tmc MP and present BJP party member Rajnath Singh retorted back and said the game will be of peace and development.
This is what he said- “Mamata didi is saying Bengal mein Khela Hobe? I want to say Khela hobe, nishchay hobe, vikas ka khela hobe, shanti ka khela hobe, ab to Paschim Bengal mein bada khela hobe (I promise that game of development and peace will definitely be played, now. There will be a big game in West Bengal)”.
