Mumbai: A huge fire broke out in a godown in Ghatkopar’s Asalfa area of Mumbai Monday morning. As per latest inputs available, 8 fire engines and water tankers rushed have been rushed to the incident site to douse the blaze.
Reports said the fire started in the godown located in the slums of Asalpfa Himalaya Society in Ghatkopar which is a hilly area. There are a lot of slums on the hill. It was said that the godown fire has started spreading to the slums.
“The fire is likely to flare up further as the area is densely populated. As soon as the locals came to know about the fire, some of the workers rushed out. There were no immediate reports of injuries or severe damage, “the officials said
