Five Naxals Arrested in Bijapur Include Two Minor

Bijapur: Five Naxals have been arrested in Naxal-dominated Bijapur, the District police said on Wednesday. Out of the five, two are reported to be minors. The arrested Naxals are identified as Kunjam Joga(20); Karam Bhima(28), and Leekam Bhima(32)- all residents of Sukma district.
According to sources in the know, the Naxals were nabbed in a forest patch near Jarpali village under the Pamed police station limits on Tuesday. The arrest was sought during the anti-Naxal operation carried out by a joint team of DRF and 151st Batallion of the CRPF.
Around 100 gelatin rods, 20 kgs of urea, two motorcycles and daily consumable items were recovered from their possession.
