Fuel Prices Hike Fifth Time in a Row

New Delhi: Fuel Prices Hike Fifth Time in a Rowle diesel was hiked by 55 paise. The surge in the past five days has accounted for a cumulative rise of Rs 3.70- 3.75 per litre.

In the National capital, petrol today will cost Rs 99.11 per litre while diesel can be procured for Rs 90.42 against Rs 89.87.  

Rates across the country have been increased and vary from state to state depending on the local taxes.

The fifth rise comes after the govt began revising the fuel prices on March 22nd after a hiatus of four and a half months. On all four occasions, prices were hiked by 80 paise per litre the highest since the daily price revision was introduced in June 2017.
