Raipur: Raipur district Additional Collector has issued a list of norms to be abided by the devotees who are willing to attend Ravan Dhan. All organizers are instructed to implement the norms at their venues mandatorily.
As per the norms, all attends have been instructed to provide their personal details and contact numbers at the register with the organizers. This decision stems from precautionary measures which would enable contact tracing in case of untoward mass spread. Masks have been mandated at the events for all the individuals attending the event. Additionally, DJ and Dhumal have been restricted in the Garba events. The attendant’s capacity has been barred at 50 per cent including the Chief guests. Moreover, no additional glamour is permitted at the venue. Organizers have been instructed to arrange thermal screeners, oximeters and hand wash at the venue.
The notice informs action will be taken under Epidemic Act against those who elicits disobedience of the rule. It is also informed that the containment zones would be restricted from burning the Ravan Effigy on the occasion of Dusshera.
