“I am doing much better”- Varun Dhawan on Suffering from Vestibular Hypofunction

Mumbai, Maharashtra: Judwaa 2 actor, Varun Dhawan said in a recent press meeting that he has been diagnosed with a rare disease called Vestibular Hypofunction. His fans have been worried about him since then! People from around the globe have been enquiring about his health on his social media handles. Keeping up with his fans’ distress, Varun Dhawan took to his Twitter to share an update about his health condition and the recovery process.

On Monday, Varun tweeted, “To everyone who has been concerned I would like to share I am doing much better with the help of yoga, swimming, physio and a change in lifestyle. Getting sun is the most important. Above all the blessings of Bhagwan.”

For the ones who do not know what Vestibular Hypofunction means, it is a condition where the balance system in the inner ear or the peripheral vestibular system does not work properly.

Soon after the actor tweeted about his health update, wishes galored from his fans from all over the world. Some wished him a speedy recovery while others pledged him not to “push too hard” for work. The news of his health condition came in when Varun, who is currently promoting his next film Bhediya interacted with a leading daily during the promotions.

“Recently, I just shut down. I didn’t know what had happened to me. I had this thing called vestibular hypofunction, (where) basically your balance goes off. But I just pushed myself so hard. We are just running in this race, nobody is asking why. I think there is a greater purpose (why) we are all here. I am trying to find mine, and hopefully, people will find theirs”, he said in the interview.

Besides the horror comedy Bhediya, Varun also has several other interesting projects in his kitty that includes Bawaal, Ranbhoomi, and Citadel, among others. We also wish the ‘October’ actor a speedy recovery.
