ICC WTC 2023 Final in June at Oval
DUBAI: The International Cricket Council has confirmed to host the second edition of the WTC final between June 7 to 11, with 12 June as the designated reserve day. at the Oval in England.
The South London venus has hosted over 100 Test matches in its history. In June it will welcome the top two Test sides in the ICC Word Test Championship standings, which will compete for the ICC WTC Mace following two years of hard-fought competition.
Australia currently holds the number one rank in the table with 75.56 pc points per game. The Indian team stands second with 53.93 pc pts per game. SL and SA rank third and fourth with 53.33 and 48.72 pc pt per game.
The ICC WTC Final is the pinnacle event in the Test calendar and is a week-long celebration of the longest format of the game.
The previous WTC was played in 2021 when India took on NZ at the Lords. The Blackcaps won the match by 8 wickets.
