Sports: India vs England Test match series began today at Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, Nottingham. England won the toss and Captain Joe Root opted to bat in the first Test. KL Rahul began the match with Rohit Sharma. 

India were given a dream start by Jasprit Bumrah who dismissed opener Rory Burns. An amazing fuller delivery shot came through Bumrah and Crawley punched it through the boundary.

This match witnessed a substantial early swing for Indian bowlers. In the opening five overs, they have averaged 2.6 degrees of swing. Since Indian bowlers are keeping it tight, England scores 8/1 after 6 overs.

Earlier, India refrained from announcing their playing XI. A notable change is witnessed in the Indian playing XI as spinner R Ashwin will not be seen playing in the Test, while spacers Shardul Thakur and Mohammed Siraj replaced Ashwin and Ishant Sharma from the last Test match.
