Indore: According to reports, Indore has been confirmed among the top 5 cities of the country in the survey of Swachh Survekshan. 11 major cities of the country included in the survey at the hands of President Ram Nath Kovind are to receive awards at a function to be held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on November 20th. For this, instructions have also been received from Delhi to the state government. To receive this award, the names of 4 people have been sought from the state including representatives of Indore.

Indore city is expected to get the number one title in cleanliness this time too. In this event, Indore is also sure to get the title of star rating of the garbage-free city. The award will be given by Union Urban Housing Minister Hardeep Singh Puri. Names of 2 representatives have also been sought from the state government level to receive this award. Apart from this, Indore Municipal Corporation has also been nominated for the Safai Mitra Safety Challenge Award. In such a situation, Indore city is believed to get 3 awards this time in this event to be held in Delhi.

District Collector Manish Singh and Municipal commissioner Pratibha Pal and other officers of the Municipal Corporation will also go to Delhi to collect the survey and other awards. The officers and employees of Indore Municipal Corporation also made preparations to celebrate in the city after receiving the award. For this, apart from the head office of the Municipal Corporation, preparations are being made for Rangoli and decorations around the community toilets.
