Inspiring: 45-year old Kiran Dembla, hailing from Hyderabad, is now a celebrity fitness trainer, whose client list includes famous Tollywood stars including Anushka Shetty, Tamannah Bhatia, Prakash Raj, Rajamouli, Upasana Kammineni (Ram Charan’s wife).

The journey of the mother to two kids started when she was 33, and one day she got diagnosed with a blood clot in her brain. In a recent interview, she has recalled that time, saying – “I was shocked and so was my husband. That’s when I looked at the mirror and realized how much I had changed in the past decade”.

“I weighed 75 kg then and looked like nothing from the time I was in college. I started feeling even more nauseated by the medicines the doctors prescribed. A postgraduate in music, I wondered what I was doing with my life”, she further added.

Today, she has a body with six-pack abs. she has recently represented India in the World Bodybuilding Championship in Budapest. She has more achievements in her bucket; she is a DJ (Disco Jockey) and a mountaineer as well and has trekked to EBC (Mt. Everest Base Camp) thrice. Her list of professions will leave you awestruck, all of which has been added into her daily schedule from the last decade. 

Kiran shared in an interview – “There were people who commented on my biceps and said it was not at all lady-like. Others said I had turned manly while some even commented on the kind of dress I used for the sport. But none of these came in my way and in 2013, I became the only woman to get a direct entry into the World Bodybuilding Championship which was held in Budapest in Hungary”.
