“Jawan” Debuts with Rs 150 Crore Global Box Office Haul on Day 1: SRK’s Latest Hit

Shah Rukh Khan’s anticipated film ‘Jawan’ has made an entry into the box office, captivating audiences with its star power and cinematic charm. Released on September 7th, the film has shattered records. Achieved milestones. It has become the Bollywood opener of all time, leaving a mark in history.

On its opening day ‘Jawan’ earned Rs 75 crore in India alone contributing to a global collection of over Rs 150 crore according to industry reports. These numbers reflect the film’s appeal across languages in the domestic market. The Hindi version had an occupancy rate of 58.67% on its premiere Thursday, with Chennai recording the theatre occupancy at an exceptional 81%.

Beyond borders, ‘Jawan’ is also making waves in the market. In Australia, it made an AUD 400,000 on opening day. Became the first Indian movie to claim the top spot at the Australian box office. Similarly, it achieved success in New Zealand by debuting at number one with a collection of NZ$79,805 ( Rs 39.13 lakh). 

Moreover, it achieved the spot in Germany, earning a sum of Rs 1.30 crore. As ‘Jawan’ spreads its wings worldwide, it has also commenced a venture in North America, the United Kingdom and Canada. This indicates a run at the box offices in those regions.
