Tensions flared in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, on Tuesday morning after a huge throng of Muslims carrying out an Eid Milad ul Nabi procession barged into a prohibited area. The incident occurred in Dhar’s Pinjarwadi neighbourhood when a number of procession members attempted to force their way into a restricted area. The situation, according to a senior police officer, is now under control.
