Mithali Raj Biopic: Taapsee Pannu Trains with the Cricketer’s Former Colleague and Friend Nooshin

Mumbai: Bollywood’s versatile actor Taapsee Pannu is all set to star in the biopic of women’s cricket team India captain Mithali Dorai raj. The film is named Shabaash Mithu and will go on floors soon.
For perfecting the role of the ace cricketer, Taapsee is getting trained under Mithali’s long-time friend and teammate Nooshin Al Khadeer who will help her understand the way Mithali played.
On being with Taapsee for the work purpose, Nooshin is all praise for her. She compares mithali and Taapsee and says, “Taapsee is extremely dedicated and her commitment to playing cricket like a professional is commendable. It is heartening to see so many common traits between Taapsee and Mithali like dedication, a go-getter attitude, and tenacity.”
The movie is directed by Rahul Dholakia and produced by Viacom 18 studios. The script of the movie is written by Priya Aven that revolves the life of Mithali raj, Indian Women’s ODI Cricket Team captain.
Besides Shabaash Mithu, Taapsee also has some interesting lineup of movies set for release that includes Loop Lapeta, Rashmi Rocket, Haseen Dillruba, and Anurag Kashyap’s sci-fi thriller Dobaara.
