MPHC Engineer’s Premises Raided, Property Worth Rs 7 Crore Found
Bhopal: A shocking revelation has come to light as the Lokayukta raided the premises of Assistant Engineer Hema Meena, who is in charge of the Madhya Pradesh Police Housing Corporation in Bhopal. The search is underway at three locations, including Meena’s residence in Bilkhiriya. The investigation has already uncovered property worth a staggering 5 to 7 crores!
Even more surprising is that Meena’s monthly salary is a mere 30 thousand rupees, yet her property income has exceeded that by a whopping 232%. The case dates back to 2020, when a complaint was lodged against Meena for possessing disproportionate assets.
Upon further investigation, it was also discovered she had purchased a massive 20,000 square feet of land in Bilkhiriya under her father Ramswaroop Meena’s name. A luxurious house was constructed on it at a cost of 1 crore.
But that’s not all – Meena had also purchased agricultural land in various villages across Bhopal, Raisen, and Vidisha. She even acquired tractors and machines for farming purposes. This case is a stark reminder of the need for transparency and accountability in public service.
