Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, addressing a massive gathering at the Parade grounds Hyderabad referred the city as Bhagynagar-inciting rumours on the nam change of the city of Nizams.

According to Modi, the people of Telangana yearn for a ‘double engine growth’ and asserted this will be fulfilled when the BJP comes to power in the state. “During the past eight years we tried to bring positive change in every Indian’s life. We are working tirelessly on how to make people’s lives easier, and how to take the fruits of development to every person and region,” Prime Minister Modi said.

The two day executive meeting in Hyderabad on July 2nd and 3rd hinted a attempts of the saffron party to take over the state. The BJP meeting was challenged by the rally staged by members of TRS, where people across the city sloganeered to prove KCRs mettle.
