PM Modi Distributed Adhikar Abhilekh’ Card to Beneficiaries Of SVAMITVA scheme

Madhya Pradesh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with the beneficiaries of the ‘SVAMITVA scheme in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday via video conferencing. He also distributed e-property cards ‘Adhikar Abhilekh’ to 1,71,000 SVAMITVA beneficiaries. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, was also present at the event. PM Modi stated that the SVAMITVA scheme is more than just a scheme to provide legal documents, adding that “it is also a new mantra for development and trust in the villages of the country using modern technology.”
Modi said the SVAMITVA scheme was launched initially in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and Karnataka. However, efforts are now being made to expand in other states. “It is very important to remove country’s villages, village property, land and house records from uncertainty and mistrust. That’s why PM SVAMITVA scheme is going to become a huge strength of our brothers and sisters in the village, the Prime Minister said
SVAMITVA is a Panchayati Raj Ministry Central Sector Scheme that aims to provide property rights to residents of rural inhabited areas. The scheme will pave the way for villagers to use their property as a financial asset in order to obtain loans and other financial benefits, just like in urban areas. Its goal is to demarcate inhabited lands in rural areas using cutting-edge surveying drone technology. According to the PMO, the scheme has also boosted the country’s drone manufacturing ecosystem.
