PM Modi Inaugurates the 14th Edition of Aeroshow India 2023

BENGALURU: Aircraft dazzle in Bengaluru’s sky as PM Modi on Monday inaugurated Asia’s largest Aero show India 2023 which will display indigenous equipment and technologies to attract partnerships with foreign companies. On the same lines, several indigenous aircraft were hosted in Bengaluru, with the ‘Make in India, Make for the World’ vision.

The five-day biennial event will showcase India’a growth in defense and aerospace capabilities. At the 14th edition of the aero show, PM Modi said that Aero India reflects India’s new strength and aspirations.

During the event, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) showcased a wide range of indigenously-designed and developed defense technologies including Aeronautical systems and missiles. As per sources, the DRDO will continue to showcase more than 330 items under a dozen categories. Nearly 809 companies from 98 countries are taking part in the event themed- The Runway to Billion Opportunities. As many as 251 agreements with an expected investment of Rs 75,000 are likely to be signed between India and various nations at the event.

Among several exhibits, some are TEDBF, ARCHER, TAPAS UAV, and Abhyas. The DRDO will also exhibit AMCA aircraft and LCA Tejas Mk2. Under the category of missiles, Akash, Astra, QRSAM, Helina, Nag, and Pralay have taken the center of the stage.
