PM Modi Visits [email protected] Expo in Lucknow
- Modi attended the “[email protected] 75-New Urban India: Transforming Urban Landscape’ Expo.
- Handed over keys to 75,000 beneficiaries under PMAY-Urban,
- Opposition leader Priyanka Gandhi criticized Modi’s visit.
Lucknow: PM Modi visited “[email protected] 75-New Urban India: Transforming Urban Landscape’ Expo at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow on Tuesday. Mr Modi was accompanied by Defence minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, UP Governor Anandiben Patel and CM Yogi Adityanath.
He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 75 Development Projects of Uttar Pradesh under Smart Cities Mission and AMRUT. Digitally he handed over the keys of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban houses to 75,000 beneficiaries in75 districts of UP and virtually interacted with the beneficiaries of the scheme. PM Modi has regularly interacted with the beneficiaries of the scheme and took their feedback. He also flagged off 75 buses under FAME-II for seven cities including Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Pragyaraj, Gorakhpur, Jhansi and Ghaziabad,
Hours ahead of PM Modi’s visit to Lucknow, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi took to her microblogging site and tweeted a viral video of an SUV running over farmers at a protest in Lakhimpur Kheri. The tweet was followed by a question for PM Modi. “@narendramodi Sir, your government has kept me in custody for the last 28 hours without any order and FIR. This person who crushed the annadata (farmers) has not been arrested yet. Why?” Priyanka Gandhi asked this morning, sharing the viral video. The Congress leader claimed she was illegally detained for the past 24 hours.
