Priyanka Gandhi Tests Positive to COVID-19; Will Isolate at Home

New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi tests positive to coronavirus. The leader took to her Twitter handle informing about her health.
Tested positive for covid (again!) today. Will be isolating at home and following all protocols,” the tweet read.
This is the second time, Ms Gandhi is infected. Earlier in June last year she had returned positive on being tested after she presented mild symptoms.
Apart from here several other party leaders including communications department head Pawan Khera and party MP Abhishek Manu Singhvi also tested positive.
Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge reportedly presented symtpoms and was tested for coronavirus. On Tuesday evening, the LoP also took to his Twitter handle confirming positive results. He requested his recent contacts to get checked and follow appropriate measures.
Additionally, it is being learnt that Rahul Gandhi, also complaints of illness, however is not tested for COVID-19. His visit to Rajasthan is called of. As per sources the former party president was expected to participate in the Congress Leadership Sankalp Shivir in Alwar today.
