“Probe Not Stopped”: PM On Minister’s Son Accused Of UP Farmers’ Killing

New Delhi: In an interview with renowed media house on Wednesday, PM Narendra Modi responded to opposition allegations that those with the BJP are shielded from action or investigation.”The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh “is working transparently” on the probe into allegations on Union Minister Ajay Mishra Teni’s son”, said Modi bringing down the oppositions allegations.
Ashish Mishra has been in jail since October, but he continues to be in PM Modi’s government as Minister of State for Home accused opposition.
The Allahabad High Court on 18th Janauary reserved its order on the bail plea of Union minister Ajay Mishra’s son Ashish Mishra alias Monu in the Lakhimpur Kheri incident, in which eight people including four farmers were killed.
On October 3, 2021, eight people were killed in Lakhimpur Kheri during violence that erupted when farmers were protesting against Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya’s visit to the area.
