Probe Ordered on Striping of Eight Men Arrested in MP
- Eight men including one journalist and a YouTuber were arrested and stripped half naked.

Kotwali: The MP Police on Thursday ordered an internal inquiry after the photograph of eight men including a YouTuber made rounds, where they were stripped half-naked in Kotwali Police station in Sidhi, Madhya Pradesh.
“Sub-Divisional Police Officer Gayatri Tiwari will inquire into the matter and subsequent action will be taken against whoever is found guilty. Irrespective of the crime committed by the culprits, such action (of stripping) is not acceptable,” Sidhi SP Mukesh Shrivastava told reporters. It is learnt that own Inspector Manoj Soni and Station House Officer Abhishek Singh to the police line.
Responding to internet jitters on why the cops stripped the journos- Manoj Soni, SHO who was present during the incident said that the information of them being stripped naked is false, “they were kept in underwear keeping their security in mind so that they do not die by suicide with their clothes, he added.”
He also mentioned that amongst all arrested, only one YouTuber Kanishk Tiwari, claiming to be a journalist was present. The others who protested were family and friends of Neeraj.
The incident occurred on April 2nd when a group of 30 men protested against the arrest of Neeraj Kunder who was involved in abusing famous and political personalities and women from a fake iD on social media.
