Rahul Dravid Likely to Cancel UAE Tour

Men in blue were in for a shock as team coach Rahul Dravid tested positive to coronavirus raising speculations whether or not he ill be on board for the upcoming Asia Cup in UAE. According to sources Dravid has isolated and further developments are not yet out.
The former batting legend of India was appointed as the team’s head coach in 2021. He most recently received a break before India visited Zimbabwe, which was coached by VVS Laxman and helped India win the series 3-0. Speculations make rounds that VVS Lakshman would replace Rahul in this event too.
The mega-event, which is scheduled to begin in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on August 27 this year, will be led by Rohit Sharma for team India. On September 11, 2022, the Asia Cup final will take place in Dubai.
India and Pakistan will square off in a heavyweight match to start India’s tournament campaign. The Men in Blue hope to make up for their loss in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 and establish their dominance in the planning of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022, which will be held in Australia later this year.
