Chhattisgarh: Raipur Police SSP Ajay Kumar Yadav sent a video message across after the city went under a complete lockdown.
He urged the citizens to cooperate with the police and follow the lockdown rules. The residents are advised to leave their homes only if it is necessary. The police officials have promised to provide assistance to the needful as and when approached.
The control room will be functioning for 24 hours a day and all police officials are engaged in the duty to help break the chain and contain the spread.
The collector ordered a total lockdown in the capital from the evening of April 9 to the morning of April 19, in view of the effective prevention and control of corona. All the borders of the district are sealed and a lockdown e-pass has been provided for the people travelling to and from the district for urgent work.
