Release Date Revealed: Amazon Prime’s “The Family Man 2” Is to Release in February

OTT: Season-II of the popular Amazon Prime Videos web series, the Manoj Bajpayee starrer The Family Man will soon premiere on OTT platform Amazon Prime Videos.

Director duo Raj & DK, who are the makers of the series, have shared a teaser of the series with #TheFamilyManSeason2 on the caption. The much-awaited second season of the series will release on Amazon Prime on the 12th of February.

The upcoming season, so far, will also offer a fascinating mystery to the viewers, that they experienced in Season-I, as in the short teaser the viewers can see an intense Bajpayee who looks into the camera, while a collage of the role played by Samantha Akkineni appears in the background. 

During a statement to media about The Family Man Season 2, the director duo has stated, “We are thrilled and excited to return to the world of The Family Man. The response to the first season was overwhelming and it struck a real chord with the viewers. And we are hopeful that we can continue to tell a story which is, as compelling and engaging as the first season”.

On a happy note, they further added, “The one question we were asked for the last 16 months is – when is season 2 coming. Our team has worked from home through the pandemic and amidst all the constraints to complete the season. We wish to thank everyone involved in our show. And our fans can be sure that we have plenty of surprises in store for the new season of The Family Man”.


The first season of the series, starred by Manoj Bajpayee, was premiered in September 2019, where Bajpayee played an intelligence officer Srikant Tiwari.

His phenomenal performance along with the plot and direction achieved immense popularity amongst the viewers. Season 2 of the series will feature Manoj Bajpayee along with Samantha Akkineni, Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, Seema Biswas, Sharad Kelkar, Darshan Kumar, Shreya Dhanwantari, Sunny Hinduja, Vedant Sinha, Mahek Thakur, and Shahab Ali.
