Huge shout out for an LBW and GIVEN! India beat West Indies by 44 runs in the second ODI at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Wednesday. After having gained an unassailable 2-0 lead in the ongoing three-match series, Rohit Sharma-led Team India would look to win the final ODI to register a series sweep. Team Blue and West Indies will lock horns in the third and final ODI at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Friday.
In the second ODI, Prasidh Krishna’s fourth wicket brought a 44-run victory. A total of 237 for 9 following a 91-run stand between KL Rahul and Suryakumar was marked. Surya was the top scorer with an 83 ball 64 while KL Rahul staged a 49-run knock. Prasid Kishan is labelled the player of the match for his spell of 9-3-12-4.
The Windies pushed team blue with stunning batting from their middle order in the first ODI, yet the Indian players took it all in the end. India, on Wednesday, eyed win after Odean Smith was expertly caught by Virat Kohli at 24.
