New Delhi: Addressing the nation virtually at 10 am today, PM Modi seemed exhilarated to celebrate the vaccine victory the nation achieved. Citing the 100 crore landmark count, he termed it as a symbol of the country’s ability and of “new India”. “100 crore vaccine jabs is just not a number. It is the reflection of the capacity of this country, this is a new chapter of the country, a country that knows how to achieve huge targets,” he stated.
Speaking over opinions and comparison of India as a pharma hub, Modiji pointed how a developing nation vaccinated 100 crore people for free. “The other countries have always participated in medicine and vaccination for a long time and everyone questioned whether India will be able to do the needful. 100 crore vaccine jabs is an answer to all the questions, slammed PM. “
Addressing the criticism over the ‘thaali taali’ which according to him was a reflection of people’s participation and capacity, aimed to bridge the imperceptible gaps between the citizens. It is science-born, science-driven and science based. Science and scientific approach are at the heart of it, continued PM highlighting the use of technology in the development of the virus.
